Cover for June is a photograph of Barbara Fisher holding a red flower Cover for July shows Richard Spiegel sitting in a rocking chair reading a book Cover for September is an abstract watercolor Cover for October shows two shelves of a bookcase showing the spines of old and new books in various conditions.  Among the authors are Terry Southern, James Purdy, Randolph Bourne, Dante and Diane Ackerman.  There is a small photo of two pandas, a small sculpture of a camel and an Obama '08 button Cover for November is an abstract pointilist composition Cover for December is Barbara Fisher's drawing of a yellow bird with blue eyes singing in a yellow circle that may be the moon. Cover for January is Richard Spiegel's abstract pointilist composition similar in color to Waterways volume 43 number 5, but with different forms. Cover for February is Barbara Fisher's drawing of a cat stretching her legs languidly as she naps, tail flowing behind her. Cover for March is a photo of early spring sproutings of grass, small flowers, dried leaves left from autumn, and twigs randomly fallen on the ground. Cover for April is anothner of Richard Spiegel's abstract pointilist compositions similar in colors to Waterways numbers 5 and 7.  The pointilist dots here evoke a geographic map with a diagonal blue river that forks to the left and right at the bottom of the frame. Cover for May a photograph of the Chenegar glacier, a massive ice structure.
